Flood is a physical ability for Lightning in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. It is a physical oriented version of the Blizzaga spell exclusive to the Purple Lightning garb. It deals heavy physical ice-elemental damage to multiple foes in a large radius.

Mechanics[]
When used, Lightning strikes the enemy with her weapon, unleashing a massive ice crystal to emerge upon impact, dealing heavy ice-elemental physical damage to the enemy and others surrounding it. If the opponent is susceptible to ice-elemental attacks, or is inflicted with the Curse and Imperil statuses, they will be launched into the air.
