Floating Death is a fiend in Final Fantasy X found in the Omega Ruins. It has the same model as the Ahriman.

Floating Deaths use two magical attacks: a Gaze attack that may cause Confuse to one party member, and a Ultrasonics attack that damages all party members. It is one of the few regular enemies in the game that cannot be scanned.

The Death spell is effective. Floating Eye is also a great enemy to steal Musks from to customize armor with Confuseproof.
