The Flandragora is an enemy in Final Fantasy XIII that is first encountered in Sunleth Waterscape. It appears to take the visage of a spoiled tomato mainly because of its stem-like top and yellow, liquefied bottom.
Stats[]
Battle[]
The Flandragora can be easily taken down by repeated use of Fire.
Etymology[]
Its name is a portmanteau of "flan" and "mandragora". Flan refers to an open pastry or sponge cake containing a sweet or savory filling. A typical flan of this sort is round, with shortcrust pastry, usually coated with sweet syrup. It is similar to a custard tart or a South African melktert.
