Battle[]

Unlike in other games, where Flan resist physical attacks, in Final Fantasy VI they can be defeated easily with normal blows. If a Flan appears by itself, it splits into two when defeated, and then three once those two Flan are defeated, making the formation really six Flan altogether. Flan in packs of four do not regenerate. Locke can steal rare Magicite Shards from them.
