Flamespark is a magic ability for Lightning in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. It is a compound ability that combines the Fire and Thunder spells, dealing magic fire and lightning-elemental damage to a single foe. Its upgraded form is the Flamesparka spell.

The Danse Macabre garb from Yusnaan has natural access to a locked Flamespark Lv. 2 ability. The Hidden Justice purchasable from Canopus Farms on the Wildlands also has access to Flamespark Lv. 3 as its locked ability.
The ability version can only be obtained as a drop from the Aster Protoflorian enemies with a 22.5% chance. The enemies drop different levels of the ability on the following days and difficulties:

When used, Lightning launches an lightning-infused fireball that unleashes a small explosion and thunderbolts upon impact, dealing two magic fire and lightning-elemental damage attacks. By default, Flamespark Lv. 1 has an ATB cost of 20, an attack power of 0.38 (0.76 in total), a Stagger Power of C, and a Stagger Time of E. When fully upgraded, Flamespark Lv. 5 at max has an ATB cost of 15, an attack power of 1.74 (3.48 in total), a Stagger Power of C, and a Stagger Time of E.
