Use[]
While active, Firebird Trance replaces Ruin III and
Outburst with
Fountain of Fire and
Brand of Purgatory, and it resets the recast timer of
Tri-disaster on use. Fountain of Fire and Brand of Purgatory deal heavy single-target and area of effect damage, respectively.
Firebird Trance replaces Dreadwyrm Trance when Dreadwyrm ends, and turns back into Dreadwyrm when used. The two Trances share their recast timer, and both require a full Aetherflow Gauge to use. The Trances must compete with
Fester,
Painflare, and
Bane for Aetherflow, though the latter abilities use only a single unit. Aetherflow can be gathered fairly quickly in PvP using
Energy Drain, and Tri-disaster generates it as well. The Summoner PvP rotation generally involves balancing the use of the single-Aetherflow abilities while ensuring the Summoner has a full gauge ready to use the Trances on cooldown.
