Fire IV (ファイアIV, Faia IV?) is a recurring ability in the series. It originally appeared as a Black Magic spell in Final Fantasy XI and has since appeared in certain spin-off titles as an enemy ability for Final Fantasy XI-related monsters.

Despite sharing the name in the English localization of Final Fantasy XIV, the abilities known as Fire IV in the title are in fact the recurring Firaja spell in Japanese.
