The Fire Gigas (ファイアギガース, Faiagigāsu?), also known as the R.GIANT or RED GIANT, is a recurring enemy in the Final Fantasy series. It is a fire-aspected member of the giant family.
Appearances[]
Final Fantasy[]
The Fire Gigas, also known as the R.GIANT or RED GIANT, is an enemy encountered in Mount Gulg and the Chaos Shrine. When first encountered in Mount Gulg it is a stronger enemy, with relatively high HP and stats. Its lack of a special attack and tendency to appear alone make it easy to beat with standard physical attacks. Using Ice-based spells is recommended and can easily finish it off. Once encountered again in the Chaos Shrine, it is of little threat.
Final Fantasy II[]
The Fire Gigas is one of three elemental gigas encountered in the Mysidian Tower as bosses, and later as regular enemies in Pandaemonium.
Final Fantasy Dimensions[]
The Fire Gigas is an enemy encountered in the Cave of Perfervidity and Mt. Gulg.
