This is a list of shops throughout Spira in Final Fantasy X. The shops' stock tends to change after the party obtains the airship. A recurring type of shop is the Rin's Travel Agency that has many outposts in the world. O'aka XXIII is a traveling merchant whom the party can run into in various points.
Items and equipment become available after Auron joins the party. The weapons are the basic weapons that were sold in Besaid with Strength +3% for Tidus and Wakka, and Magic +3% for Yuna and Lulu. Kimahri and Auron's weapons have empty slots instead. The armor pieces provide Defense +3%.
The shop becomes available after the fight with Chocobo Eater. The weapon shop sells the basic equipment available since the beginning. The armor pieces have Magic Defense +3%.
The weapons sold have Strength +5% for Tidus and Wakka and Magic +5% for Yuna and Lulu. The weapons for Kimahri and Auron are their basic empty-slotted weapons. The armor pieces have Defense +3%.
Weapons for Yuna and Kimahri have Magic Booster and Alchemy. Weapons for Lulu and Rikku have Magic Booster and Magic +10%. Weapons for Tidus, Wakka and Auron have Initiative. All weapons have two blank slots. All armor pieces have SOS Shell and two blank slots.
Available at any time, but after Tidus mentions Seymour's departure for Macalania Temple, the prices for both items and equipment will increase by 12.5%.
Unlike the previous shops, this armor shop has different abilities for each party member. The armor piece available men have Ward abilities: Tidus's is Poison Ward, Wakka's has Stone Ward, Kimahri's has Dark Ward and Auron's has Ice Ward. Yuna's has SOS NulTide and Lulu's has two Magic Defense+% abilities.

Appears after viewing the scene with Lucil, Elma, Clasko and the Hypello, after leaving and reentering the area. After Tidus mentions Seymour's departure for Macalania Temple, the prices for both items and equipment will increase by approximately 21.62%.
The weapons available for the girls inflict status ailments on strike. Yuna's has Darktouch, and Lulu's has one for Deathtouch and one for Poisontouch. The first weapon available for Kimahri boosts both Strength and Magic and the other has Lightningstrike.
The equipment customization feature is introduced here, and thus the weapon shop sells empty-slotted equipment ready for customizing. The armor pieces have Lightning Ward.
All weapons have Strength +10% and no blank slots along with their main auto-ability (Magic Booster). All armor pieces have MP +10% and two blank slots.
The weapons available give Strength +5% for the physical attackers and Magic +5% for Yuna and Lulu, plus one empty slot each. The armor pieces give HP +10% and one empty slot. The Longsword has no abilities and no ability slots.
All mages' weapons have Strength +10% and Strength +5% and one blank slot. All other weapons have Magic +10% and Magic +5% and one blank slot. All armor pieces have MP +10% and three blank slots.
The weapons available have Strength +5% for physical attackers and Magic +5% for Yuna and Lulu and one empty slot each. The armor pieces have HP +10% and one empty slot.
The weapons available have three empty slots and either Magic +10% for Yuna and Lulu or Strength +10% for everyone else. The armor pieces have three empty slots and HP +10%.
This shop only appears when the player first arrives in the Calm Lands. Once they leave the Calm Lands riding a chocobo, or after defeating Defender X, this shop will disappear.
Physical attackers' weapons have Strength +10% and two empty slots. Yuna and Lulu have weapons with Magic +10% and two empty slots. The armor pieces have HP +10% and two empty slots.
The appearance of Wantz on Mt. Gagazet is missable, and if the player does not speak to him on their first visit, then the young merchant will not appear in Macalania to sell the four-slotted equipments.
Wantz only appears in Macalania Woods after talking to the fayth in Bevelle. The player must have talked with Wantz in Mt. Gagazet for him to appear in Macalania. He sells weapons and armor with four empty slots.
At O'aka's first four locations, the player has the opportunity to donate him gil to start up his business.
The amount of money the player gives O'aka determines the prices at his shops at the Mushroom Rock Road, in the following manner:
0 - 100 gil → all items/weapons will get 100% increase in prices.
101 - 1000 gil → all items/weapons will get 50% increase in prices.
1001 - 10000 → all items/weapons will get 20% increase in prices.
10001+ → items/weapons will get 30% discount on all prices.
The last chance for the player to give money to O'aka is in the Mi'ihen Oldroad. Once the player enters the Mushroom Rock Road, they will no longer be able to give more money to O'aka.

For the armor pieces, Yuna has one for Magic Defense +3% and another for Fire Ward and SOS NulTide with one empty slot, Kimahri has one for Ice Ward and one for Sleep Ward, Lulu's has Magic Defense +3% and Water Ward and Wakka's has Magic Defense +3% and Confuse Ward.
O'aka's prices can be altered if the player views his wares, regardless if they buy anything. O'aka will ask Tidus's opinion of his prices and choosing 'Too pricey' will reduce the price of both equipment and items by 25%. If the player chooses 'Just right', the prices remain the same. If the player chooses 'Too cheap', O'aka will increase the price of both equipment and items by 25%.
