When free-roaming around Insomnia in Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ardyn , the player can find various shops for where to spend yen. Yen is made by selling treasures procured from felled enemies and found from the environment. Consumable items are sold in vending machines, whereas gear (hats) is sold in stands. Defeating the guardians at the Wall amplifiers unveils all nearby points of interest on the map, including shops. The bonus shop opens in all save files after completing the episode.
