Final Fantasy XIV tools

This is a list of tools in Final Fantasy XIV, used by the crafting Disciples of the Hand and the gathering Disciples of the Land. They are divided into primary and secondary tools for each class. Primary tools are equipped in lieu of a weapon, and while they have basic attack attributes and the player is allowed to auto-attack enemies while one is equipped, they are not intended for combat.

Secondary tools are equipped in the offhand slot and provide only bonus attributes. While secondary crafting tools can be seen in the animations for certain recipes, they are not necessary to craft said items. Conversely, secondary gathering tools are required to access certain gathering nodes.
