  • Adalberta would like you to meet a prominent member of the mining community.
  • It would seem your recent efforts have attracted the attention of Deep Canyon, vice foreman of Amajina & Sons Mineral Concern. According to Adalberta, he is eager to meet with you, and has come to the guild for that very purpose. Seek him near the entrance, and introduce yourself.
  • Wishing to assess your reported potential for himself, Deep Canyon bids you procure ten onzes of high-purity cinnabar. For the sake of formality, report back to Adalberta prior to beginning your task.
  • According to Adalberta, ten onzes of high-purity cinnabar will not be easy to find. Nevertheless, the guildmaster believes you equal to the task. Search for the elusive mineral in the vicinity of Horizon in western Thanalan, and when you have found the requisite quantity, deliver the lot to Deep Canyon.
  • Deep Canyon is impressed that you were able to find the quantity of cinnabar he requested, and promises you more work from the Concern. Now convinced of your potential, he advises you to invest in better gear, arguing that the benefits of quality equipment far outweigh the initial cost. ※The next miner quest will be available from Adalberta upon reaching level 20.

  • Adalberta has a mind to teach you about materia.
  • You learn that Deep Canyon used to be Adalberta's friend and mentor, but that something has driven a wedge between them. Though they do not see eye to eye on many things, Adalberta concurs with Deep Canyon's advice on the matter of equipment, and proposes materia as a means to augment your gear. In order to teach you about these curious crystals while giving you field experience, she bids you obtain ninety-nine fragments of grade 1 carbonized matter, a catalyst formerly used in the materia melding process. Dig for the substance around the De Nevelle Checkpoint in middle La Noscea, and deliver the required amount to Adalberta.
  • Adalberta explains that materia can only be attached to equipment by Disciples of the Hand, a process that once required the use of catalysts procured by Disciples of the Land. Due to advances in materia melding techniques, however, these substances have since become obsolete. Although this has led to reduced work for miners and botanists alike, Adalberta tries to be happy for progress. ※The next miner quest will be available from Adalberta upon reaching level 25.

  • Adalberta has a mind to assign you a challenging commission.
  • You learn that the guild has received an order for a quantity of high-purity wyvern obsidian, an extremely rare mineral. Conscious of the difficulty you are like to encounter in procuring it, Adalberta has accepted another miner's offer of assistance, and would have the two of you work together. Seek out the miner in question─one Wide Gulley─and discuss the task at hand.
  • To your dismay, Wide Gulley greets you with open hostility. He has no intention of cooperating with you, and instead proposes a contest to see who can procure superior-quality wyvern obsidian. In light of your relative inexperience, Wide Gulley offers you all the time you require, and even suggests that you consult the client, Hrodger, should you require more information on the mineral.
  • Hrodger tells you that deposits of wyvern obsidian have previously been discovered around Thal's Respite. In addition, he reveals that Wide Gulley is in fact Vice Foreman Deep Canyon's son, and a miner of tremendous talent in his own right. Armed with this information, procure fifteen chunks of the purest wyvern obsidian you can find, and deliver them to Wide Gulley.
  • After examining the fruits of your labors, Wide Gulley grudgingly concedes that your wyvern obsidian is purer than his own. Brooking no argument, he tells you that he will deliver your haul to Hrodger, and bids you report back to the guildmaster.
  • Adalberta is troubled to learn that Wide Gulley turned an already difficult task into a contest. Upon hearing that you bested him, however, her dismay swiftly gives way to astonishment. She proceeds to lavish you with praise, even confessing to a hint of envy, and encourages you to continue exceeding expectations. ※The next miner quest will be available from Adalberta upon reaching level 35.

  • Adalberta has asked you to obtain twenty high-quality raw amethysts. Confessing that the gemstones are not her specialty, she bids you speak with Wide Gulley to learn where they might be found.
  • Wide Gulley obliges you with the information, but only because he is certain that you will fail at your task. Being careful to avoid the fearsome creatures in the area, make your way to Hopeseed Pond in the Central Shroud, and obtain twenty high-quality raw amethysts. Once you have the required quantity, present them to Wide Gulley.
  • Wide Gulley cannot hide his surprise that you were able to brave the dangers to procure the amethysts. To your credit, the man has come to see you as a rival, and expresses his intent to redouble his efforts. Keep working at your craft, that you might be prepared when the next contest inevitably comes. ※The next miner quest will be available from Adalberta upon reaching level 40.

  • Adalberta would like to entrust you with a difficult task.
  • You learn from Adalberta that Deep Canyon has placed an outrageous order for no fewer than twenty high-quality pieces of jade. It seems the precious stones can only be found naturally in Coerthas. Adalberta beseeches you to not do anything for which you are not prepared. In the meantime, however, you are told that Wide Gulley has something to discuss. Seek him out in the guild before making any rash decisions.
  • Somewhat expectedly, Wide Gulley proposes another contest─the first to fulfill Deep Canyon's order wins. Make your way to Haldrath's March in Coerthas, and there obtain twenty high-quality pieces of jade. Once you have the required quantity, present them to Adalberta.
  • Delivering the jade to Adalberta, you learn to your surprise that you have won the contest by default. Wide Gulley was attacked by a monster and could not complete the order. While the guildmaster applauds your success, she cannot help but feel concerned for your recuperating comrade, who she says is deeply depressed. ※The next miner quest will be available from Adalberta upon reaching level 45.

Concerned for his health, she bids you speak with Wide Gulley in order to learn the truth of the matter.
  • Wide Gulley reveals to you that his father has been tampering with official records in order to enhance his standing in the guild. Deeply ashamed, he has taken on a throng of tasks in the hopes of turning Deep Canyon's lies into truths. Unfortunately, he has bitten off more than he can chew, and begs you to fulfill an order in his stead. Make your way to Camp Bronze Lake in upper La Noscea, and obtain twenty chunks of high-quality electrum ore on your guildmate's behalf.
  • You have delivered the electrum ore to a grateful Wide Gulley, who goes on to compare himself to brass─pretty to behold, but worth little. Will the man ever be able to meet the high expectations he has of himself? ※The next miner quest will be available from Adalberta upon reaching level 50.

  • Adalberta is gravely concerned for the fate of an old friend.
  • The flustered Adalberta reveals to you that Wide Gulley has reported his father's abuse of power to the Concern's upper management. The guildmaster bids you speak with Wide Gulley and learn all you can of the situation, that she might help her old friend and mentor.
  • Wide Gulley admits that he has filed an official complaint to the Concern, so ashamed he was of his father's actions. He suggests you speak with the accused in order to hear his side of the story.
  • Deep Canyon reveals that his actions were fueled by the long-standing desire to bring down Adalberta for her betrayal years ago. Deliver this shocking revelation to your guildmaster.
  • According to Adalberta, Deep Canyon's belief that she betrayed him is nothing but a misunderstanding. Loath to see him destroy his career due to this perceived slight, she bids you speak with Wide Gulley, and with him find a way to save his father.
  • In order to prove that he is fit to remain vice foreman, Deep Canyon must demonstrate to the Concern that he still has the confidence of guild members. To this end, you must procure three chunks of darksteel ore, an extremely rare metal found only from unspoiled mineral deposits in Coerthas. You are warned that these deposits only appear during certain times of day. Use the technique Truth of Mountains to locate them, mine the required quantity of darksteel ore, and return it to Adalberta as quickly as you are able.
  • Owing to your intervention, Deep Canyon has been given a chance to redeem himself. With the matter now laid to rest, speak once more with the relieved Adalberta, who awaits you in the Miners' Guild.
  • Adalberta thanks you for the part you played in sparing Deep Canyon a fate of ignominy, and lavishes you with praise for your growth as a miner. • Adalberta has an attractive proposition for you.
  • Adalberta has received a request for an expert miner from a company of sellswords currently in Ishgard. The guildmaster strongly urges you to pursue the opportunity. If the thought of prospecting in the north calls to you, speak with Linette to obtain the necessary proof of your affiliation.
  • Linette hands over the papers, along with her best wishes for your venture. Take the sooty envelope to a knight stationed in front of Fortemps Manor.
  • Upon realizing who you are, the knight welcomes you to House Fortemps. He informs you that his lord has seen fit to hire foreign sellswords to explore more of Ishgard's territory. You are to join Oschon's Raiders─one such company. Make your way to the Forgotten Knight and speak with Haimirich, the company's captain.
  • Haimirich welcomes you warmly to Oschon's Raiders, and introduces Hatchling, after a fashion. This youngest member of the company clues you in on a tradition of sorts, and gives you the nickname “Professor.” Haimirich bids you wait for the present, as there is no work to be had. • Haimirich is raring to go.
  • House Fortemps has asked that Oschon's Raiders survey the Coerthas western highlands. They are interested in the mythrite that may lie beneath the region. Haimirich therefore tasks you with discovering whether or not a sufficient quantity of pure ore can be pulled from underground. With your marching orders now set, Haimirich bids you join him and his men to the south end of the Black Iron Bridge.
  • You find Oschon's Raiders idling near the south end of the bridge. However, all jump to attention when Haimirich calls, and they listen attentively as he gives them their individual orders. Finally, he comes to you, and tells you to find ten chunks of high-quality mythrite ore in the area. Begin your search at the mineral deposits near the Gorgagne Holding, and return to Haimirich with your findings when finished.
  • Haimirich gladly accepts the mythrite ore just before Hatchling comes running with ill tidings─one of the Raiders has been injured. The Raider captain wastes no time in sending the man to Falcon's Nest for treatment, and then treats you and Hatchling to his thoughts on being a sellsword before returning to the Forgotten Knight. Meet with him there when you head back to Ishgard.
  • According to Haimirich, the wounded Raider will make a full recovery. He thanks you again, and bids you make yourself ready for when the next job comes down from House Fortemps. ※The next miner quest will be available from Haimirich upon reaching level 55.

  • Haimirich has a job for you and you alone.
  • It seems that House Fortemps will be leading a new push against Dravania, and needs to armor itself for a fierce battle. For this purpose, only titanium will serve. However, it is unclear where ore can be mined in sufficient quantity to fulfill the knights' needs. Haimirich turns to you for an answer, and, given that you do not seem to have one, bids you seek the counsel of your guildmaster. Armed with a sample of titanium, make your way to Ul'dah and see what Adalberta has to say.
  • You find Wide Gulley speaking with Adalberta. Though you came to speak with the latter, it is the former who tells you where to find the titanium. It seems that some years ago, Deep Canyon came across a similar sample of the metal in the hands of a hunter who made his living in the Dravanian forelands. Wide Gulley swears that the chunk of metal you brought is identical to the one the hunter had, and Adalberta theorizes that the ore must originate in the area. Return now to Haimirich at the Forgotten Knight with this piece of information.
  • Upon hearing it was a hunter who found the first sample of titanium, Haimirich exclaims that the vein of ore you seek must be somewhere near the Chocobo Forest. Though this is hardly definitive, Haimirich is willing to mobilize Oschon's Raiders on this hunch. Rendezvous with them in the Dravanian forelands.
  • Haimirich dispatches his men to mind the perimeter while you search for the presence of a rich lode beneath the trees. Mine ten chunks of high-quality titanium ore from nearby mineral deposits, and deliver them to the captain when you are done.
  • Haimirich happily takes the ore, and, after Muscles returns from clearing the path homewards, bids you all return to Ishgard. Make your way back to the Holy See and speak with Haimirich there.
  • You find Haimirich both happy and worried. The cause is Hatchling. The captain tells you that the lad has a bright future, but only if he can overcome his own pride. Failing that, he may very well find himself in a situation he cannot outlive. Though you feel there is more to this story, Haimirich suddenly changes subjects, and you sense that now is not the time to ask further. ※The next miner quest will be available from Haimirich upon reaching level 58.

  • Show the sample of titanium ore to Adalberta.
  • Return the sample of titanium ore to Haimirich in Ishgard.

  • New orders await you and Oschon's Raiders.
  • Haimirich informs you that your mission today is one of exploration. It appears that your successes have led to further prestige for House Fortemps, and this has agitated old rivalries amongst the nobility. Subsequently, your employers are called upon to do even more, and thus you and Oschon's Raiders have been asked to find out what, if anything, lies beneath the ground of the Makers' Quarter. Make your way to the Dravanian hinterlands and rendezvous with Haimirich.
  • You arrive to find that Haimirich has hired a white-haired naturalist to aid with your survey. Since the area is largely unexplored─by Ishgardians, at any rate─the captain asks that you find three mining points, and see if you can dig up any samples.
  • You have found three samples of some metal unknown to you. Deliver them to Haimirich.
  • Upon examining the samples, the naturalist lets out an astounded cry─all three contain traces of pure hardsilver. The metal is rare and extremely valuable, he tells you. Haimirich is greatly pleased to hear this, and bids you mine ten chunks of high-quality ore. As before, dig at nearby mineral deposits and return to Haimirich with the fruit of your quarrying.
  • While Haimirich is thankful for the hardsilver, he has grown worried about the Dravanians in the surrounding area. However, just before he can sound the retreat, Muscles tells him that Hatchling has chased down some monsters by himself. The boy returns to a furious captain, who berates him for his irresponsibility. With the mood grown somber, Haimirich tells you brusquely to find your own way back to Ishgard. Return to the Holy See, and speak with Haimirich at the Forgotten Knight in hopes that he will be in better spirits.
  • Haimirich regrets his earlier outburst. He admits that he is hard on Hatchling because he sees potential in the boy. Moreover, the captain does not wish him to die as his own brother did. In any case, he bids you await the next job. ※The next miner quest will be available from Haimirich upon reaching level 60.

  • Speak with Haimirich in the Makers' Quarter.
  • Investigate the mining points.

  • Haimirich has a look of gratitude on his face.
  • You and Haimirich are joined by a knight of House Fortemps and Hatchling. The former tells you that the Holy See itself has expressed interest in further surveying the Dravanian hinterlands for mineral wealth, and has asked for Oschon's Raiders by name. However, the knight continues, House Fortemps cannot provide any aid. Haimirich accepts these conditions, but Hatchling does not, and tells his captain so in no uncertain terms after the knight leaves. With a weary sigh, Haimirich enjoins you to come to Idyllshire, whence to begin your survey.
  • You arrive in Idyllshire to find only Haimirich and Muscles. It seems the company was attacked while you were traveling, leaving two Raiders badly wounded. Hatchling chased after the monsters, and has not been seen since. As you cannot possibly cover the entire area in time, Haimirich asks that you speak with Midnight Dew to see if any of the inhabitants of Idyllshire saw where Hatchling went.
  • Midnight Dew is willing but unable to help, as Hatchling went missing in an area of the Ruling Quarter untraveled by Idyllshire's inhabitants. However, a wandering goblin trader has been known to pass through there. He can be persuaded to help should you deliver to him three chunks of high-quality adamantite ore. This, Midnight Dew informs you, can be mined in Azys Lla─though she herself has never heard of it, and doubts it exists at all.
  • The goblin trader is overjoyed to have his adamantite ore, and promises to not only tell you and Haimirich where Hatchling has vanished, but guide you there as well. Return to Haimirich with the glad tidings.
  • Haimirich thanks you for dealing with the goblin trader, and races off to find Hatchling in the Ruling Quarter. Follow him and help find the boy.
  • You find Hatchling at the bottom of a cliff. Thankfully, the boy is none the worse for the tumble, save a potentially broken leg. Having rescued him, Haimirich finally explains in full why he has been so tough on Hatchling. His own brother, Gevehard, put Oschon's Raiders in a terrible position through his rashness years before. Unable to save both his company and his brother, Haimirich chose the former, and left his brother to die. The decision has haunted him since, though he believes it was the right one. He is glad that he was able to save Hatchling. As you all turn to leave, the captain gives you a heavy sack of loot to give to Midnight Dew for her help. Return to Idyllshire, and deliver it to her in person.
  • Midnight Dew accepts the heavy sack with thanks, and listens as you tell her what has transpired. However, she is shocked to learn Gevehard's name, for it seems he lived after Haimirich left him to die. Indeed, the younger brother was given succor by the goblins, and valiantly served Idyllshire until dying a hero's death. Return now to Ishgard's Forgotten Knight, and tell Haimirich what really happened to his brother.
  • Haimirich is understandably amazed to learn his brother survived being left in the wilderness. Though the captain must forever live with the terrible decision he made that day, he is glad to learn that Gevehard became a man in his own right. He informs you that Oschon's Raiders will move on from Ishgard before long to spread their name and fame throughout the realm. But they will always remember you, the miner who did so much good for them. ※The next miner quest will be available from Adalberta once you have met the following requirements: ※ You must have registered a product key for FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood to your service account. ※ You must have completed the main scenario quest “The Far Edge of Fate.”

  • Adalberta would like to entrust the guild's brightest star with a new job.
  • Adalberta tells you of a job that has cropped up in Idyllshire that would be just perfect for you. In fact, if you do not do it, then seemingly no one will. You are encouraged to talk to Linette in order to obtain the papers necessary for proving your guild status.
  • As luck would have it, Linette assumed that you would be taking the job, conveniently preparing your papers ahead of time. She bids you talk with a Lalafell by the name of Nonowato upon your arrival in Idyllshire. Documents in hand, you prepare to leave for the town shared by goblins and men.
  • Nonowato gladly checks your papers and beckons you to follow him into Stickqix's Bangpots to hear more about his work. It seems that Stickqix is the one in charge around here, despite Nonowato being the one who requested your services.
  • It quickly becomes evident that Stickqix is no ordinary goblin. Blessed with the gift of the gab, he eloquently explains that he is a gobbie on a mission─an epic one that entails him and his workers pushing the very boundaries of technology to their utmost limits! You are informed that your services are required to procure some rare minerals necessary to build the Gobroller: a machine they hope can someday be used to reclaim the Sharlayan ruins. Nonowato suggests leaving the sweaty confines of the manufactory so he can explain the schedule for the vehicle's construction.
  • Nonowato reveals that the hard work will begin at a later date; he first needs to identify which minerals are required and how urgently. You elect to call upon him again in the near future. ※The next miner quest will be available from Nonowato upon reaching level 63.

  • Nonowato informs you that he has at last finished compiling his long list of minerals. He proceeds to tease you with the exciting prospect of actual work, before noting that Stickqix wishes to brief you himself first. To that end, Nonowato leads you in the direction of the Bangpots.
  • Regrettably, Stickqix's hands are full with other matters and he is unable to give you anything approaching an adequate briefing. You discover that his two Roegadyn workers are in the midst of a spat, bringing work on the Gobroller to a total standstill. Stickqix sheepishly asks if you would not mind intervening on his behalf to help solve the dispute.
  • You patiently listen to each worker's gripes and soon discover the cause of the dispute. Krystrymm is of the opinion that the vehicle needs to be outfitted with sturdy armor built to withstand physical attacks. Fohcwyda, on the other hand, believes that magic is the greatest threat to the Gobroller and would see it fitted with the appropriate protection. You go over what you have heard and ready yourself to give a summary to Stickqix.
  • You explain to Stickqix just why his workers are butting heads. He remarks that he may have an idea as to how this dispute can be resolved, but says it will require a certain mineral. The chief asks you to mine three chunks of beggar's mythril ore from the Striped Hills in Gyr Abania.
  • Stickqix uses the minerals you procured on his behalf to create an ingot, which he shows to Krystrymm and Fohcwyda. The two of them are tasked with using this metal to create armor resistant to both magical and physical attacks. The fight finished, you choose to join Nonowato outside to discuss future work.
  • Nonowato unreservedly apologizes for the actions of his colleagues and encourages you to rest up well before your help is required again. You decide to follow his advice while continuing to hone your mining skills on the side. ※The next miner quest will be available from Nonowato upon reaching level 65.

  • Nonowato longs to live in a world where he is able to simply ask you to do some mining.
  • Nonowato greets you once again by dangling the prospect of a mining job in front of you before cruelly snatching it away. It seems yet another fight has broken out at the Bangpots and Stickqix would appreciate your help. You hurry to the manufactory with Nonowato to see exactly what is going on.
  • You find Stickqix in the midst of longing for simpler times when his work was seldom interrupted by infighting. He explains that Stackblox and Zansei have been arguing over the design of the Gobroller's controls. You agree to play mediator once more and go to talk with the two workers.
  • If there is one thing Stickqix's workers are not lacking, it is passion. Zansei and Stackblox have been locked in a heated debate about whether the Gobroller's controls should be made to accommodate men or goblins. Having ascertained their respective positions, you are now ready to fill Stickqix in on the situation.
  • You explain the cause of the quarrel to Stickqix and he asks that you obtain feather iron ore on his behalf. You are told that his merchant friend will be able to explain where you are to begin the search. You head for the Hard Place wondering just who Stickqix's friend is exactly.
  • After arriving at the Hard Place you are greeted by a familiar gobbieface, one that has helped you before. Remembering your past favor, the goblin merchant tells you the location of the mineral you seek free of charge. You prepare yourself for the long journey to Hells' Lid all in the good name of technological innovation.
  • Stickqix shows the minerals he requested to Zansei and Stackblox in the hope that it might get their creative juices flowing. Sadly, neither of them are able to grasp what he is suggesting and Stickqix is forced to spell things out: Zansei and Stackblox must work together using the fruits of your labor to create controls which suit all races.
  • You speak with Stickqix once more. He has been troubled enough by the recent disharmony that he is considering asking an old friend, Slowfix, for advice on how to proceed. Not wishing to weigh you down with such heavy thoughts, he bids you head outside and join Nonowato, who has been patiently waiting for you.
  • Nonowato thanks you again for your efforts while apologizing that he was unable to do more himself. He suggests you use the time you have before the next job to rest up and hone your mining skills. ※The next miner quest will be available from Nonowato upon reaching level 68.

  • Nonowato finds himself in a bit of a financial pickle.
  • A troubled Nonowato informs you that he has forgotten to reimburse Rowena for some materials she procured at his request. Rowena has also personally asked for your help with a job of her own by way of an apology. Agreeing to help Nonowato in his hour of need, you brace yourself for a meeting with Rowena at her Center for Cultural Promotion.
  • Rowena receives quite a surprise when she realizes that the miner she has heard so much of is none other than the Warrior of Light. However, she soon brushes this initial distraction aside to get down to business: you are to mine eight chunks of serpentine for her. Request received, you set off to make amends for Nonowato's error.
  • You deliver the serpentine to Rowena as requested and she furnishes you with Nonowato's order: a set of research materials. Before you leave for the Bangpots, she remarks that it has been quite some time since she last saw Stickqix. Apparently the manufactory chief stops by fairly often to check on his orders, but has not done so of late.
  • Nonowato is just about at his wit's end when you finally deliver the research materials to him. After making a not-so-subtle attempt at pretending all is well with the project, he confesses that Stickqix has gone missing. With your input, Nonowato concludes that the chief has likely gone to see Slowfix for advice on the project, and suggests that you seek out the goblin.
  • Slowfix regrettably has no information as to Stickqix's whereabouts, but he is able to tell you something else of note. The knowledgeable goblin fills you in on Stickqix's past, just why he decided to come to Idyllshire, and about the dream that led to the creation of his manufactory. Having heard this, Nonowato resolves to head back to the Bangpots and reinvigorate the workers there.
  • Nonowato explains to the Bangpots workers just why their esteemed chief has deserted them. He follows up by stressing the need for cooperation to the team, explaining that it is the only chance they have of completing work on the Gobroller without Stickqix's guidance. All come to realize the error of their ways, vowing to finish their work, whilst aiding their colleagues. Nonowato bids you join him outside to discuss the remainder of your own work.
  • Nonowato informs you that the next task he gives you will likely be your last. You prepare yourself for one final push, knowing that the Gobroller's completion draws near. ※The next miner quest will be available from Nonowato upon reaching level 70.

  • Mine serpentine .
  • Deliver the research materials to Nonowato.

  • Nonowato wears an expression that suggests work on the Gobroller is at last coming to a close.
  • Nonowato lets you know that work on the Gobroller is progressing nicely and that your help is needed for one final push. He beckons you to the Bangpots where he will discuss the finer details of the job with you.
  • Nonowato outlines the current situation: testing has begun on the Gobroller and it has become clear that its current pistons are not up to the job. The team at the Bangpots initially thought the ceruleum engine's power output was their sole problem, but upon increasing this, they realized the vehicle would not move without stronger pistons. Nonowato knows what material is needed for the new parts, but not where they are found. You agree to ask Adalberta on his behalf and set off for the Miners' Guild in Ul'dah.
  • After overcoming her initial shock that you are on the hunt for pummelite, Adalberta informs you that the mineral can be found in the peaks of Gyr Abania. However, this may be easier said than done as pummelite has become increasingly scarce over the years due both to war and the Garlean occupation. Undeterred, you prepare for the journey ahead.
  • Nonowato gladly accepts the five chunks of pummelite you procured for him and wastes no time getting to work creating the new pistons. He assures you it will not take long and that, once they are finished, they will be putting the Gobroller through another test by the Answering Quarter. You bide your time as you await the vehicle's final trial.
  • The moment everything has been building towards is finally at hand: the Gobroller's test run. Thankfully, everyone's hard work pays off and the vehicle operates as intended. However, just as everyone starts to rejoice, Stickqix appears out of the blue wondering what has his team so elated. He is slightly deflated to learn that these key developments all unfolded in his absence, but sadness soon gives way to joy as it dawns upon him that his dream has been realized at last.
  • Stickqix imparts an interesting morsel of knowledge upon you: he used to be a member of the Illuminati. Originally, he had been tasked with creating a vehicle that would allow Illuminati members to safely go on pilgrimages. However, things turned sour when Quickthinx stole the plans and warped the design into what ultimately became known as the Gobmachine. Your work finished, you prepare to go and talk to Nonowato one last time.
  • Nonowato tells you that work on the Gobroller is far from over. They have plenty of further tests planned and hope to refine the current model, eventually creating new versions of the vehicle. Lastly, he informs you that payment for your work shall be sent to the Miners' Guild shortly.
  • You return to the guild to collect Nonowato's payment from Adalberta. She goes on to inquire as to just what kind of place Idyllshire is; the job seems to have her keen to know more about the village where goblin and man coexist in harmony. You are bid farewell and told she will be in touch again whenever there is more work for you.
