The Final Fantasy XIV & Fall Guys Collaboration is a recurring collaboration event for Final Fantasy XIV based on Fall Guys.
The event is started by accepting the sidequest Just Crowning Around by talking to Lewena in the Gold Saucer (X:4.8 Y:6.1).
Activities[]
Once the sidequest has been accepted, the player can talk to gatekeeper Wy in Wonder Square (X:6.1, Y:7.4) to access Blunderville Square. Once the quest has been completed, the player can also access the location by talking to the Blunderville Attendant in Gold Saucer Aetheryte Plaza (X:5.9, Y:6.3).
In Blunderville Square the player can talk to the Blunderville Registrar to join the Blunderville minigames and collect MGP and MGF, which can be exchanged at the MGF Trader for a variety of rewards.
Blunderville[]
Blunderville is a battle royale mode where up to 24 players vie against each other in a set of obstacle courses. The objective is to complete each of the three stages before your rivals and fight for the victor's crown. Players must complete the objective of each stage to qualify for the next round. Challengers who qualify for the next stage will remain in spectator mode until the next round begins. Challengers who have been eliminated may remain in spectator mode until the end of the show.
Players who have registered for a show will be sent to wait in Lobbyville. The show will begin when 24 challengers have gathered. If 2 minutes has passed since a session has been prepared without gathering 24 challengers, however, the show will begin automatically, with appropriately reduced numbers of qualifiers each round. By default, 16 players will qualify for the second round, and 8 for the final round, but if there are already fewer challengers than the next round's maximum, only the player coming in last will be eliminated. If there is only one player remaining, the mode effectively becomes a time trial, granting the sole player victory as long as they complete the course before time runs out. The second stage will also always be forced to be "Saucery Siege", as "The Gold Swiveller"'s win condition is based on the number of contestants eliminated, instead of the number of contestants that completed the stage.
MGF, or Manderville Gold Saucer Fame, is awarded to all Blunderville challengers after a show has concluded. MGF is calculated based on your final rank in the show. MGF can be exchanged for rewards by speaking with the MGF trader. Completing the first course gives a reward of 100 MGF, completing the second course gives another 150 MGF, and completing the last course gives another 200 MGF (reaching a total of 450 MGF across the three courses). If the player is eliminated, they will only receive 50 MGF for that course and will enter spectator mode. The MGP and MGF rewards will be adjusted based on the number of challengers in each show. For the purpose of related achievements, wins are counted regardless of how many players participated.
