Yeah looking good. It looks more "part" of the wiki with some interlinks, though of course everything should also work as an independent article and you can read just that. Sidenote maybe, but I love that Vana'diel Amano art. Just. Wow. Now I can present a counter-argument, thanks. The FFXI Chronology page is little more than an FFXI timeline. The FFXI history page brings it into more depth. It boils down to what people want. I think that the History page is more well-written, but at the same time, the FFXI Chronology page is more succinct. If you were looking for something in particular, then the Chronology would be good. If you were looking to learn about FFXI's storyline backdrop, then the History page would be good. I think that both pages are both necessary and useful.

Oavatos: I think you'll find that you're legally obliged to not vote for it, reason being that you need to repay the debt of doing it last time. I don't disagree with XIII having been featured, just that "cuz it's new, olos" is a failsome reason. I didn't nominate it because its new, I nominated it because the quality of the article is high when you compare it against how long the game has been out. Lack of general interest doesn't make up for the lack of development of an article. We don't improve articles so as to meet the interest of the average browser.
Obviously, we're not here to make up stuff about what we cover. Just do awesome articles out of the information we are provided with. That's why Ozma kicks so much ass.
Also, I do believe that at this point XIV's article doesn't have enough info to make it a featured game article. Mostly thanks to its worldwide release being on the same date. - Henryacores^ 16:22, October 5, 2010 (UTC)

I think a fandom article for featured piece is a good idea, but 8-Bit Theater has its own wiki...it even says on top of the page if you want a more comprehensive look go to Sardapedia. Interestingly, I was going to nominate "Limit (Final Fantasy VII)", would seem pretty silly next to DMW. However, chances of it being voted would be pretty slim since it's a tagged article-- we're more likely to vote-in "Limit Break". But I was busy yesterday so I couldn't continue my image-series on my account. And chances of it being voted next month are even slimmer, especially if DMW gets in.

Anyways, DMW is missing two vital images. Vital images go in places left blank for an image. Which means the article would be incomplete without them. So you have a month. The omission of that image wouldn't be as obvious if you put the DMW images in a gallery. I'm not a fan of images inside tables anyway, as it makes the table rows higher than it should, and the table looks different on other resolution screens. Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 10:16, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

If someone equips a Chocobo support materia, and waits a long time until they get it and it fails so the player gets Dud (roughly 1/8 chance or so I've been told) -- then has a camera ready, or a phone. I could do it, but I'm not going to. :) 88.108.94.82 19:05, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

Horrible is better than nothing-- since horrible still represents the Limit Break where no image gives no insight at all. :) --Plus it's a placeholder. Usually an image that exists is less likely to get a HQ version than one doesn't exist at all, but since the Limit Break does not appear anywhere I can find, LQ is better for completions sake than nothing. Images in tables have drawbacks, but putting the images in a gallery means it separates it from the information. Therefore it's easier for users to navigate. We've used the anchor function to link the user from the gallery to the ability, but if I'm searching for an ability, I want the image to be with the other information. This is really something that happens too much here, and while Scathe brought it up I'm sure many others have noticed it - when voting for an article for FA, vote based on the article's merits, if its well-written, factual, uses images and sources when appropriate, etc. I admit I've done so myself at times, but you shouldn't vote for an article based only on liking the subject matter. That is a half-truth. Whenever I vote for/nominate articles (however rare I do) the first thing I consider is the what's the article is about. Then I skim the article. When I vote anything I make sure the article is in the best shape possible. HOWEVER, through this system, Legend of the Crystals is hardly going to get voted in. It's just how things go really. Well, I've shortened the opening paragraph somewhat. The main problem was that the sentences that I just removed from that article was written in the second person, which unfortunately rears its ugly head in many articles, especially enemy articles. That is why I am always reluctant to vote for such articles and is probably also the reason why there are very few enemy articles that are featured. (Edit conflict) The article strategy section was still instructive contained second-person writing so I've decided to fix it up so that it conforms to the MoS. The reason I didn't fix it at first (which I would have done) was because I never fought the boss and I was afraid that I may inadvertently change the strategy to something that wouldn't work or make sense.
