Uwee hee hee hee! Welcome, editors, to the Dragon's Neck Colosseum! My name is Ultros the receptionist, and each week I'm taking bets as to who will win in a tussle between two characters from the Final Fantasy series! The winner gets, well, nothing. It's more of a poll, really. The Colosseum owner stuck me on this duty after Kefka was defeated, but I need the money! So what are you waiting for? Get voting! Remember, you can remain anonymous! If you have any requests for future fights, please feel free to leave a message here.

The Rules, Briefly

Functionally, this is a popularity contest. You may vote for your favorite or whom you think would win in an competition between the two combatants that week. Failure to comply with these rules will likely result in your vote being removed up to being banned from participating in future fights.

  • You may vote only once.
  • If you are a user, please include your vote in the user section. If you are not logged in when you vote as a user, your vote will be removed.
  • If you are not a user, please include your vote in the anonymous section.
  • To vote, type the following "#~~~~", afterward including any reasons for voting you may wish to include. You are required to leave this whether you are logged in or anonymous. If you do not sign and timestamp your vote, it will be removed.

  5. Beatrix had a bit of character development along with being in a better game. You can never win against her in a fight because she is very strong and she is also more beautiful than Llendar's handsomeness. If it weren't for the fact that, Beatrix, was quite possibly one my most favorite characters in the Final Fantasy universe, as well as the fact, that, she is much, much, stronger for the amount of time you get to use her, Final Fantasy IX, very well grinds the Tactics game into dust.   32. I'm voting Beatrix because she is a potent ally (or enemy) and is a good character overall. Her role in the plot, paired with her skills and theme music leaves Llednar in the dust. I would have to say Beatrix because she starts off with some of the strongest movesets for a knight in the game and She has the third second strongest weapon in the game (God Save the Queen) which you can only get through synthesizing with Hades which I'll let you know is not a fun optional boss fight.   47. I have played both FFTA and FFIX, Llendar comes out after 3/4th of the game, and his role in the game is barely significant. Compared to Beatrix, who climhazzards your party's face, leaving them with 1 hp, and in the end, she joins your party to give you some good equipments, and ITS A SHE.   4. This fight is kind of stupid. Anyway, Beatrix has an awesome skillset, and can use Thunder Slash in a way Steiner can't (thank you very much, Thunder Slash Bug). In addition, Rose Of May is just incredible. She's noble, loyal, and the best swordswoman in the continent. Beatrix puns this guy.
  5. There is a plethora of men who dressed strangely, even femininely, in the Final Fantasy universe, and pulled it off, actually looking GOOD. Llednar is not one of those men. He simply fails.

Llendar is in tactics advance which will never stand up to one of the XIII PROPER Main series games (No I do not see XIV as a main series game) Tactics WotL is the one true Tactics game. Even though I have not IX Beatrixholds a special place in my heart because when I was little and my mum played IX, Beatrix was the first Final Fantasy game character I ever learned the name of. Final Fantasy is the greatest series ever :)
