To celebrate the cold, bitter, and horrible winter nights, we at the DNC committee have given you a wondrous fight celebrating the great season of winter! That's right, we've got three, wonderful kinds of snow for you to vote for! In one corner, we have the mullet-wearing and meatheaded sort of snow, the sort of thick snow that sticks and clumps to everything. In the other corner, we have the kind of snow that is currently undergoing some sort of deathly frostbite all over. In the next corner, we have…just snow. Normal snow. Comes from water. Snowy snow. Snow snow snow. In the last corner, in case you hate the cold like I do, we have the reminder that the lovely times of spring are only…three months away with rain(e).
Choose two wisely and snowily. Or rainily. You decide.
I hate Snow. --Flüstergras 11:11, December 15, 2014 (UTC)
She's awesome. And Laguna is awesome, how they ended up conceiving the dork they got is beyond me though. Maybe Zell was their child and they were switched at birth.--AnonyMan (talk) 12:37, December 15, 2014 (UTC)
I hate Snow, the hero. Monterossa (talk) 12:52, December 15, 2014 (UTC)
I have no idea who this even is, I just don't like the alternatives.--TechnobliteratorTC 13:01, December 15, 2014 (UTC)
CHALLENGER EDWARD CHRIS VON MUIR FINAL FANTASY IV DEFEAT 12-11
LAST MAN STANDING
CHALLENGER EDWARD "EDGE" GERALDINE FINAL FANTASY IV VICTORY 12-11
Today at the DNC, we of the committee elect not to provide you with a fight message, but instead broadcast an important public service announcement from one of the elderly of our community. It follows.
YOU SPOONY BARD!
This has been a public service announcement from one of the elderly of our community. Thank you, and have a nice day.
CHALLENGER OERBA YUN FANG FINAL FANTASY XIII AND THAT SEQUEL YOU PROBABLY HATE DEFEAT 11 to 13½
LAST MAN STANDING
CHALLENGER EDWARD CHRIS VON MUIR FINAL FANTASY IV AND THAT SEQUEL YOU PROBABLY HATE VICTORY 11 to 13½
Alright, I admit it, you guys caught us at a bit of a bad time. We were trying to style the next fight as a sort of flower fight, with the Malboro suitably garbed up to take on Cocoonicus Crystallis. But there was an incident knocking out half of the makeup team, one of them needed counseling, so that idea unfortunately had to be scrapped at the last minute. So I start frantically calling anybody who I think will come on the same day, and the only guy I can get-um. What I meant to say, was, from our incredibly massive pool of random competitors, we have totally randomly picked a fair competitor for our current defending champion, Fang, to compete against. Totally.
We even took the liberty of devising a theme for this fight! As you can clearly see, this is the battle of the unnecessarily long names. As one of the few characters in the series with more than two names, these two competitors today will be battling it out for long name superiority! Will the character with four words in their name win out, or will Fang prove that weirder and not bigger is better? Who will be the Last Man Standing?
Voting for the underdog in this fight! Plus Fang sounds bad***!!! TMG- Why? (talk) 12:52, November 23, 2014 (UTC)
I like Fang a LOT more than that spoony bard, mainly cause we get to spend more in-game time with her. Sure. Edward has his useful moments, but it's not enough to match up to Fang for me. MechaKaiser, who else? (talk) 14:19, November 23, 2014 (UTC)
How could you possible vote Edward over one of the sexiest characters in the series what--TechnobliteratorTC 14:21, November 23, 2014 (UTC)
I don't know any Final Fantasy character whose name is longer than mine, but who cares. Well, that spoony bard guy there has the Whisperweed, and I'm completely okay with the fact that he's extremely whiny. Whiny males are okay, but IV already has Cecil, thus Edward's existence is redundant. So I'm going with this lady here whose game I never played... again. ...huh, that was long. --Flüstergras 19:45, November 23, 2014 (UTC)
Dues she have a Fang club here on the Wiki? ;P —Kaimi(999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 19:46, November 23, 2014 (UTC)
They say Edward is the Spoony one, but who would you rather spoon with? Edward. That's because he's a little bitch with emotions and feelings and other baggage. If you want a real man, go with Fang. --BlueHighwindツ 20:16, November 23, 2014 (UTC)
I hate this sequel less, even Touhou it doesn't have potcats in it. CATUSE 08:00, November 23, 2014 (UTC)
I owe it to the Bard for even being interested in playing FFIV. Mierna 08:32, November 23, 2014 (UTC)
I will admit, Edward here had balls taking on Kain and going into the Antlion Cave on his own. #Crashb2007 (talk) 09:41, November 23, 2014 (UTC)
Takes a Man to admit they ain't a fighter. All he wanted to do was chill with his lady and knock boots. Respectable goals. More badass than a lame toughguy coasting on looks, although he is pretty too. Also his long name goes in together and rolls of the tongue better.--AnonyMan (talk) 23:36, November 25, 2014 (UTC)
Well, his music is awful enough to help beating monsters at a long distance. JC Holy Knight (talk) 23:57, November 25, 2014 (UTC)
Extracurricular activity for this week: Have any of you people ever met someone who liked The After Years? I met one such individual, once. It was... surreal. Jimcloud 07:59, November 23, 2014 (UTC)
I got it as part of the PSP compilation... I really need to play it, but my PSP is currently AWOL. King of Noobs 16:29, November 27, 2014 (UTC)
I'll be honest, I did like After Years except for Porom's Tale, which was boring. XIII-2
on the other hand, I got bored with it after playing the first hour. #Crashb2007 (talk) 09:51, November 23, 2014 (UTC)
Fang has a less-than-two-minutes cameo in XIII-2 actually.—Kaimi(999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 19:48, November 23, 2014 (UTC)
As far as character screen time goes, Fang is to XIII-2 as Edward is to Interlude. Their appearances were so inconsequential and brief that I didn't even bother mentioning them. No, the games that were relevant to the point I was making were LR and TAY. Jimcloud 20:30, November 23, 2014 (UTC)
The only reason I mentioned XIII-2 was because it is the only game in the Lightning Saga I have actual experience with, to be honest. #Crashb2007 (talk) 22:24, November 23, 2014 (UTC)
OMFG!! It seems that the spoony bard will out Fang out of her misery! ;P —Kaimi(999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 22:32, November 30, 2014 (UTC)
CHALLENGER RED XIII FINAL FANTASY VII. MOSTLY. DEFEAT 6½ to 11
LAST MAN STANDING
CHALLENGER OERBA YUN FANG FINAL FANTASY XIII + CHANGE VICTORY 6½ to 11
Hello there! Here today we bring you a fresh, new, randomly rolled competitor for this Last Man Standing bout. You see, there was an issue where the pot containing the cat wanted to ride solo, there was an argument, words were said, the group split off, and it was decided that a solo pot did not qualify as a "being" for the purposes of Last Man Standing.
So we made some changes! Here we have the totally randomly picked Oerba Yun Fang, conveniently allowing for us here at the Dragon's Neck Colosseum to christen this week Fangs Week. Because it's Fang against someone with fangs. Geddit? ...Anyways, we hope that our 50% completely random competitors and our 50% completely preselected competitors can have a nice, clean, totally cheat-free week at this week's Last Man Standing. Fur will fly, Fangs will, um, fang, and someone will be the Last Wom-er, Man Standing! I can't wait!
I fear we are merely looking at the tip of the madness iceberg. Pray, do not stay to go down the rabbit hole with me and my cohort, ladies and gentlemen. Jimcloud 08:36, November 10, 2014 (UTC)
Sanity and order is over-rated. Up with Madness and Chaos! Mania and Dementia! AND CHEESE! King of Noobs 00:03, November 11, 2014 (UTC)
I seem to be having trouble editing when I'm using Google Chrome. is anyone else having this issue? It keeps coming up with some new editor, which doesn't seem to work Pzykosiz (talk) 00:11, November 14, 2014 (UTC)
Go into your user preferences and check to see what editor you're using (Under "Editing"->"Editing experience"), change it to something that's not "Wikia's new VisualEditor". If that doesn't work, we can't help you, it feels like there's half a dozen different ways that that blasted thing can be enabled and staff only have the ability to disable one of those ways. -- SomeColorMage ~ (Talk) 08:36, November 16, 2014 (UTC)
cheers, that's working much better Pzykosiz (talk) 10:29, November 17, 2014 (UTC)
Hey hey hey! Welcome to the post-Halloween sale in the DNC (Driver's Numberplate Collection). We got four prime and beautiful vehicles just for you! Indeed, I'll be honest, I've never seen vehicles that are better and are also not filled with sawdust. Haha, no sawdust here (*shines teeth, blinding several people in the audience; their vision never recovers and they spend the rest of their years blind, mourning the day they ever walked into that strange used car shop*).
On one corner, we got the beautiful motorcycle used by a certain Chocobo haired protagonist. I hear that fanboys faint at the very touch of the leather padding! Just make sure not to be driving when this happens, of course. Next, we this convertible used by a man whose parents loved to butcher ancient languages to the general annoyance of people who actually understand it. Great for running away from giant monsters, or just the ordinary road rage! Next up, we've got a beautiful…thing used by a famous Sorceress and president. I mean, who wouldn't want an evil witch as a president? Beats our current politicians, am I right (*more teeth flashes, sends some people into cardiac arrest*). Finally, we have a pot. Cats sometimes sit in them. Those are vehicles, right?
Well, it's all up to you! Just so you know, you can choose your favorite TWO. Who will be the last vehicle standing?
CHALLENGER RED XIII FINAL FANTASY VII AND LIKE TEN SECONDS OF ADVENT CHILDREN VICTORY 13-8
LAST MAN STANDING
CHALLENGER INGUS FINAL FANTASY III DEFEAT 13-8
Kin and country. These are important things, for some moreso than others.
One of our contenders today is the last in a species dedicated to protecting their homeland, and it is a job he takes very seriously. The other one wants to secure the princess's bedchambers, if you know what I mean.
So. With the formalities out of the way, let us nobly spectate a battle that has been decreed by that most vicious of random number deities. Which of our noble young lads will secure their place that will probably rapidly be dethroned in the battles to come? Who will be the last man standing*(For, like, a week, tops)?
I don't know much about Ingus, but I love Red XIII! I think the FF main series needs more 4-legged main playable characters.Free bird (talk) 00:03, October 29, 2014 (UTC)
A talking animal is much cooler than a useless knight! --Cloud2110 16:24, October 30, 2014 (UTC)
Once, when I was drunk, I yelled "Red XIII WEEEE"... Long, and awesome, story. Zhor7 (talk) 20:43, October 31, 2014 (UTC)
While Red XIII isn't the best character he at least has characterization. Ingus's story arc: Ingus is a guard at the castle. Ingus joins the party to help restore the kingdom. Ingus decide to stay with the party for the rest of the game. The End. --126.96.36.199 23:02, October 31, 2014 (UTC)
Red XIII is a really underrated character.. GoldenChocobo 15:26, November 1, 2014 (UTC)
Curse you, reddish colors, for making it so hard to see black on top of you. I swear I deal with salmon more than a fishmonger. Jimcloud 05:59, October 27, 2014 (UTC)
At least you live a life of deliciousness. --BlueHighwindツ 13:58, October 27, 2014 (UTC)
And the 10 seconds of Advent Children... :( I was really looking forward to watching AC just to hear Red XIII speak (because his Voice Actor is epic), and then he only got one line. :( Anyways, I'm abstaining from this fight, because it's a character voiced by Liam O'Brien vs a character from the first FF I ever played. TMG- Why? (talk) 11:27, October 27, 2014 (UTC)
I want to make it clear that I would totally have voted for Red XIII, however he totally ignored Aerith, and that ruins it for me. --BlueHighwindツ 14:58, October 27, 2014 (UTC)

I WOULD PROFESS MY AFFECTION HERE, BUT ROBOTS DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS THING YOU FLESHBAGS CALL "LOVE". — YuanSalut 11:11, October 20, 2014 (UTC)
Fortress or Transformer...tough call. Gotta go with Ark. He's an airship and like his ancestor, THE Badass SqueEnix robot, Robo. He uses lasers that are somehow shadow elemental. But is actually magic in nature this time. Shame Garnet had him as I rarely use her.AnonyMan (talk) 02:34, October 23, 2014 (UTC)
DEFENDING CHAMPION BARTZ KLAUSER FINAL FANTASY V VICTORY 11½ to 4
LAST MAN STANDING
CHALLENGER RAMUH AND THAT SEXY BEARD LOTS OF FINAL FANTASY THINGS DEFEAT 11½ to 4
He has multiple ladies from two different planets begging him to go steady. His machismo is so incredible, it even made his chocobo sexier. When you say Jump, he's already bringing the spear down. He is... the most interesting Bartz in the world.
Okay, not really. But this is his final match in Last Man Standing, and he is not only fighting against the third in a series of opponents he's already canonically defeated, he is also fighting against the second in a series of masters of anatomical features. That's right, Ramuh makes his foray into Last Man Standing. In this battle of wits, wizardry, and spellblade dual wield rapid fire, who will come out on top? Who will be the Last Man Standing?
Votes for that Bartz you find in a fridge raid that's missing the expiration dateEdit
Death Claw + attack / Dark Spark + Level 5 Death. I can't think of a game it was easier to beat Ramuh in than in V. --Flüstergras 12:08, October 13, 2014 (UTC)
