Peanut Gallery[]I think I'm gonna have to abstain from voting in this one. I've never played II, and I've never liked to vote without having played both games so I can form a real opinion of the characters. AquaRake 18:20, March 25, 2012 (UTC) @Jim: You can't blame that on the man himself, what with Edward having the benefit of a direct sequel. - +DeadlySlashSword+ 18:41, March 25, 2012 (UTC) @Catuse: Er, btw, your walkthrough page you've linked to, it seems messed up to me. I doubt it's my laptop, as every other page seems normal, but... The logo and the "Discussion" and "Edit" things are all over the place. Tidus357 04:27, March 26, 2012 (UTC)
Wow... Can't believe a FFII character is actually winning. Watch this now jinx his chances. --ClixPsi 17:53, March 26, 2012 (UTC) |

Peanut Gallery[]I really don't know what to tell you guys, other than the only person who can possibly be blamed for this matchup is Bluesey for making his bots so sadistic with their die rolls. Since we had nobody to put in LMS this week, we rolled to determine who would face off in the next fight. Scathe rolled one character, and I rolled the other, and the results stand before you, proof of the RNG's trolling. Well, we'll see where it goes. Jimcloud 09:34, March 18, 2012 (UTC)
@Catuse: She's 14, not 6. >> - +DeadlySlashSword+ 19:12, March 18, 2012 (UTC)
@MSS: Linaly was a descendant of Bartz, not Krile...well maybe she was, there's a 1 in 3 chance >> - +DeadlySlashSword+ 14:07, March 21, 2012 (UTC)
Wow. I'm really surprised to see this being so even right now. I really though Krile would get destroyed, since it seems that even amongst people who actually like FFV don't seem to like her. I'm diggin' this. --AnonyMan 17:46, March 21, 2012 (UTC)

Peanut Gallery[]Please note that the winner of this fight will not go on to LMS. Instead, two randomly chosen characters from this list were selected to fight off in the next LMS (those being Krile and Vossler; it will be an interesting fight to be sure). ScatheMote 23:02, March 11, 2012 (UTC) @AquaRake: Kuja has. And then he used it to destroy existence itself. Armageddon11! 23:15, March 11, 2012 (UTC) Ooops lol. You totally got me there, dunno how that managed to slip my mind so thoroughly. AquaRake 02:19, March 12, 2012 (UTC) @TimeMaster: Meteor is considered "Time Magic" because it seems to be short for "Time/Space Magic" or "Dimensional Magic." This is also why spells such as Gravity, Comet, some forms of Break, Banish, Float, Vanish, and Warp are all part of the same group of spells. Dogurasu 01:37, March 13, 2012 (UTC) Ok, I can see that. That spell group makes much more sense when you include the space half as well. Thanks for the clarification. --Time Master 15:27, March 13, 2012 (UTC) Epic landslide. C A T U S E 17:45, March 13, 2012 (UTC) Just had a thought: I wonder who Caius would go up against in the arena... Hmmm.. Peanut Gallery[]Welcome to Round 5 of LMS! This will be Cecil's last week in LMS, as he has reached the five-fight limit. If Cecil wins this match, two new combatants will go head to head for the title of LMS champion next week, but if Sabin emerges victorious, he will fight again as LMS champion in two weeks' time. - +DeadlySlashSword+ 05:53, March 4, 2012 (UTC)
@King of Noobs: While I do not object to the conclusion drawn, I do object to the points coming to it. Were you reading a different script than me? The impression that I received is that Edgar was the honorable one for staying, sacrificing his own freedom and desires by becoming a king, so that his brother (Sabin) could go free and pursue his dreams like he always wanted. Jimcloud 20:09, March 4, 2012 (UTC)
With all the paragraph long votes for Sabin I almost feel bad about how superficial my vote for Cecil was. ALMOST. Can you blame me for thinking he looks really hot in Dissidia and making that my only reason for voting? --Marael 01:44, March 6, 2012 (UTC) |

Peanut Gallery[]Just a reminder for you folks, but that thing where people decide the future of the DNC with regards to Last Man Standing is still going on, so if you have something to say about how last week's LMS match went, and whether you want more matches like that, that would be the place to do it. Jimcloud 17:10, February 26, 2012 (UTC) What Catuse said. Kain does not lose a lead like that so quickly... Tidus357 22:42, February 26, 2012 (UTC)

Peanut Gallery[]Frequent voters are encouraged to give their opinions on the format of the DNC under the change of management here. In particular, what role should LMS play in regards to normal fights, if you want it to remain at all, and how frequently would you like the fight to be changed? On the other hand, you can now see his beautiful face :) Tia-Lewise 18:43, February 21, 2012 (UTC) Speaking of which, has Kain always been left handed? O.o Maybe it's just my bad memory, but I swear I've seen him with that spear in his other hand. Tidus357 03:05, February 22, 2012 (UTC)
Hmm. I thought they'd be neck and neck and stay that way, but can't say I'm really surprised with Cecil falling behind right now, even he has his detractors. Kain however almost seems to have none for some odd reason. --AnonyMan 01:13, February 22, 2012 (UTC) Currently, we are planning to alternate the updates of the DNC with a modified Last Man Standing (the new rules have been added to the header of this page). Updates will come more frequently than before (currently, they are planned to update every Sunday, though that might be subject to change). I'd like to ask if anyone has any objections to this course of action or would like to propose alternative rules to LMS, please leave a comment here or on this forum. Thanks, and I hope you enjoy the fight! ScatheMote 23:48, February 22, 2012 (UTC) Think of the magnitude of this battle were both to be brainwashed to the usual more powerful than normal bad@$!%!. Peanut Gallery[]I'm actually quite shocked at the current standing. Where are all you Squall fanboys/girls? King of Noobs 02:29, February 3, 2012 (UTC)
I know this space isn't at all intended for Keltainentoukokuu's lolpinions but...eeh...I think it is very interesting to have a main character in a game like Final Fantasy through whom to explore issues of social anxiety. Something that is quite common, but not much seen in media, at least not in the form of the main protagonist in a "classic rags to riches hero story" (might be that I follow the wrong media though). Of course, there is the issue that as the player surrogate Squall must be able to communicate with people, so it is dressed as severe dislike of doing so rather than inability, but which he rationalises to himself as something he doesn't want anyway. My 2 gil.Keltainentoukokuu 04:44, February 5, 2012 (UTC) Hehe, that's deep. Tia-Lewise 12:06, February 5, 2012 (UTC) I was tempted to vote for Cecil simply for the fact that I like Rosa and can't stand Rinoa. But perhaps you can't choose who you fall in love with (or who the programmer decides should be your love interest). --TeaTime 04:30, February 8, 2012 (UTC) Not to be a nag, but looking at the scores, isn't it a draw (counting anon vots as 1/2), so why does it say cecil wins?Balthierfan 21:53, February 16, 2012 (UTC)

Oh, and sign your votes this time, all ye anonymous users! :DC A T U S E01:05, January 16, 2012 (UTC) I always felt like...Agrias has just hardly any personality. Her whole character is that she is a female knight, which is just a bit more novel than having a male knight. If she was a male knight and still said and did all the same things, no one would remember this character.Keltainentoukokuu 03:36, January 16, 2012 (UTC)

Ooooooh it's a tie at the moment, i was expecting this to be a landslide in Cecil's favour, well i guess it just goes to show that he was more bad arse as a Dark Knight XD.The Nemesisx 13:37, January 17, 2012 (UTC)
If I did my DNC math correct, it's Cecil:27 to Agrias:25. I'm amazed she's doing so well, to be perfectly honest. The Tactics series isn't as well liked as some others. King of Noobs 14:15, January 22, 2012 (UTC)
