RPGe Fan Translation
- Bartz is called "Butz". This name never been used officially by Square Enix.
PlayStation and PSOne Classic
- Based on the Super Famicom version, now with full English translation.
- Loading times before battles were added.
- Faris has a pirate accent.
Gameboy Advance
- New translation scripts.
- Optimized background musics.
- Loading times before battles from the PlayStation version was removed.
- 4 additional jobs; Necromancer, Cannoneer, Gladiator, and Oracle.
- A new Bonus Dungeon, the Sealed Temple was added.
- Bestiary was added.
- Music Player was added.
- Quick Save function was added.
