Changing Booth from FFVII Rebirth

Changing booth in Costa del Sol.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth includes multiple outfits for each party member. These alternate outfits are worn by party members at different points in the story, namely in Junon, Costa del Sol, and the Gold Saucer. The outfits can then be changed into in Costa del Sol's changing booths.

On a first playthrough, the beachwear outfits can be worn throughout the Corel Region. From the Chapter Select, the player can use the alternate outfits for the game.

Overview[]

Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith dress in Shinra infantry fatigues while in Junon to blend in in chapter 4, "Dawn of a New Era", while Barret dons a sailor's outfit to pose as a dock worker. Red XIII wears a Shinra infantry outfit as the final Queen's Blood opponent aboard Shinra-8 in chapter 5, "Blood in the Water", but cannot wear this getup outside of this one scene, whereas the others' alternate outfits are playable.

While in Costa del Sol in chapter 6, "Fool's Paradise", Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith have options to trade for beachwear from the shops, and Yuffie has her own beachwear that she wears while in Costa del Sol. Barret wears his sailor outfit while on the beach. Choosing an outfit for Cloud that matches the choice of outfit for Tifa or Aerith will affect their relationship mechanics with Cloud.

The alternate outfits can be worn in Costa del Sol and nearby areas and appear in cutscenes and battles.

Yuffie sports a moogle hoodie for her set undercover operations, and gets a "Wutaian pop star" outfit when first arriving in Gold Saucer in chapter 8, "All That Glitters".

Everyone has special get-ups for the Loveless enactment in chapter 12, "A Golden Key": Cloud always plays Alphonse, Barret always plays the villain Valvados, whereas Red XIII always plays the villain's hellhound, Garm. Cait Sith sports a joker outfit for his role as the narrator. The role of Rosa in the play is taken either by Aerith, Tifa, or Yuffie, and Aerith also wears a different gown for her "No Promises to Keep" segment. Red XIII's and Cait Sith's Loveless looks are usable as alternate outfits, but the other play outfits are only for the Loveless scene.
