The Final Fantasy Transparent Playing Cards (ファイナルファンタジー クリアトランプ, Fainaru Fantajī Kuria Toranpu?, lit. Final Fantasy Clear Playing Cards) are a deck of playing cards released in commemoration of the Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary, originally sold at the Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Exhibition[1], and later available in the Japanese Square Enix e-store[2].
The blue of the cards design is see-through, as demonstrated in the image at top of this article, hence "Transparent" in the deck's name. Each card features a character's sprite in the Final Fantasy VI style (later used in titles such as Final Fantasy Record Keeper).
The deck does not coordinate the 52 cards and their featured illustrations based on suits, and instead the cards feature characters in ascending order of appearance, starting with the Warrior of Light as the Ace of Spades, and going through hearts, clubs, and ending with Noctis Lucis Caelum as the King of Diamonds (and the only representative of Final Fantasy XV in the deck). The deck's two Joker cards are Gilgamesh and Kefka, as they were also in the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Playing Cards deck.
