Shields
Shields can be equipped by: Soldier, Paladin, Warrior, Defender, Fencer, Moogle Knight, Sage, Viking, and Raptor. Any unit with the Shieldbearer P-ability can also equip a shield. The unit must have one free hand to equip it. If a unit has both hands free, it can equip two shields at once.
