The following is a list of statuses from Final Fantasy Legend II. All except Stun may be randomly healed on their own during combat or in between rounds of battle.

If the entire party is stunned and/or petrified, the game is over. If the player hasn't yet reached Valhalla, Odin will appear and give the player a chance to start the previous battle over again. Once the player has passed Valhalla, and when the party dies, the result is a game over with a return to the title screen.

Winded the whip[]

This status is called Stun in the Japanese version, but the North American version used that name for the Knocked Out status. Whips have an additional feature which they can prevent the target from acting on the current turn if they haven't already took an action, it essentially stuns them for that turn.

For the status to be applied, the whip has to hit and deal damage. It won't work if the damage is completely nullified by high Def. Nothing is immune to this status, and there's no check for resistances or against the target's monster species.

Game Element Type Effect
Whip Whip Inflicts "winded the whip" on one enemy for one turn after the hit.
Blitz Whip Inflicts "winded the whip" on one enemy for one turn after the hit.
