The following is a list of statuses from Final Fantasy Legend III. Characters and enemies may be immune to certain status effects based on their equipped armor and talents. The passive ability FFLIII StrengthAll trait makes the subject immune to all status ailments, except Fell.

If an attack would have caused an ailment but the target is immune, the message "No effect." will be reported.

List of statuses[]

Pois[]

The inflicted target will take damage at the end of each round. Can be removed by Heal, Venom, Cycle, Antedot, and Elixir.

Fluid Enemy Ability Can inflict Pois Poisons all enemies.
Dk-Virus Enemy Ability Can inflict Mute, Pois, Para, Conf, Sleep, and Petri. Inflicts two random statuses on all enemies at 100%.
Poison Enemy Ability Inflicts Poison Poisons one enemy.
P-Skin Enemy Ability Inflicts Poison Automatically counterattacks by inflicting the Poison status.

Mute[]

The target inflicted with Mute cannot cast any spells. Can be removed by Heal, Cycle, Throat, and Elixir.

Conf[]

The target will takes random actions against random targets which includes allies and foes. Can be removed by Heal, Confu, Cycle, Calm, and Elixir.

Dark[]

The Hit rate of the target will be reduced. Can be removed by Heal, Spark, Cycle, EyeDrop, and Elixir.

The target cannot act, and it wears off over time. Can be removed by Heal, Sleep, Cycle, Awake, and Elixir.

The target will be reduced to half defense and half magic defense. Can be removed by Heal, Pure, Cycle, and Elixir.

Petri[]

The target character cannot take any action, this status persists even after the battle. If inflicted on enemies, the target monster will die instantly. Can be removed by Heal, Stone, Cycle, Soft, and Elixir.

The target lost all HP and is killed, this status persists even after the battle. Can be removed by Life, LifeA, LifeB, and Elixir.

The status condition of the character is normal, character is not afflicted with any of the above.
