Final Fantasy III Original Soundtrack is the complete soundtrack of the Nintendo DS version of Final Fantasy III. Also included in this album is a DVD containing the game's opening FMV sequence, a promotion video made for the game, and an interview with the game's staff titled Final Fantasy III Anecdote. The album also contains arranged tracks not played in the game and songs that were not included on the NES version soundtrack.
The tracks that are rearrangements of tracks from original version of Final Fantasy III share a Japanese name. Unlike the Final Fantasy III Original Sound Version soundtrack for the original version of Final Fantasy III, this soundtrack does not give English titles. The English track names the wiki uses come from the Apple Music digital edition. The Gallery feature added to later ports of the game uses its own set of English titles that are translations of the Japanese name.
The Apple Music digital edition features the text "【DS Version】" on its cover.
