Final Fantasy Grandmasters was a free-to-play online multiplayer spin-off of Final Fantasy XI for iOS and Android.[2] It featured a turn-based battle system. The closed beta test launched on June 8, 2015.[3] The game was officially launched on October 1, 2015. It was Japan exclusive and had over 1 million downloads. Square Enix shut down the game on April 25, 2019.
