The Final Fantasy Exvius Universe is the collective collaboration between two games developed by Singapore production house gumi and published by Square Enix. While Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius have shared a common world since their respective inceptions in 2015 and 2019, the two only began sharing content within the latter title's first year of service.
Collaborative content[]
- FF Exvius Universe Campaign: Announced January 2020, this campaign allowed players of both games to participate in a daily quest to achieve milestones that would benefit all players, gifting them with Summon Tickets (for Brave Exvius) and Visiore (for War of the Visions), as well as unlocking various wallpapers in the event's official site.
- Sprouts of Devouring: Released alongside the first anniversary of War of the Visions, Sprouts of Devouring was a story event where players would face off against paired Malboros, with the main characters of each game, Fina and Rain from Brave Exvius and Machérie Hourne and Mont Leonis from War of the Visions, brought together by the Will of Light to face the threat.
- Final Fantasy Exvius Universe x Chillhop Music LoFi Remix: A remix album featuring music from the soundtracks of both games.
- Creeping Malice: A sequel to Sprouts of Devouring that coincides with the sixth global anniversary for Brave Exvius, featuring Lasswell and Jayden Rundall. Creeping Malice is both an in-game collaboration, as well as an animated comic series that released in chapters.
