This technical demo of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius was created by Square Enix and published on March 31, 2018. The demo presents Final Fantasy Brave Exvius in high-quality graphics for both pre-rendered FMVs and real-time in-game renders. All the characters were voiced by Japanese voice actors and actresses.
It was revealed at the end of the demo that this is nothing but an April Fools' joke.

The tech demo sums up the main plot of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, introducing the main casts including Rain, Lasswell, Fina, and the antagonist Veritas of the Dark who's leading his comrades aiming to destroy all the crystals in the world while Rain's group trying to defend them.
The battle system is a classic turn-based system where units from both sides taking their turns.
