Final Fantasy Brave Exvius The Musical (ファイナルファンタジー ブレイブエクスヴィアス ザ・ミュージカル, Fainaru Fantajī Bureibu Ekusuviasu za Myūjikaru?) is a stage musical based on the story of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. It was planned to be performed live on stage in Japan, however the performances were canceled due to the coronavirus and instead a performance was livestreamed in March 2020. It was written and directed by Fumiya Matsuzaki, who also worked on musicals for series such as Gundam and BlazBlue.

The main theme was composed by Noriyasu Agematsu, the game's composer, while the rest of the music is composed and arranged by Syunsuke Wada and Mana Iwanaga.

The performance is 3 hours long.

Ticket sales were intiially distributed through lottery in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Digital Ultimania.[1]

Main visual

The musical was initially scheduled to be performed in The Galaxy Theater in Tokyo from March 6 through March 15, 2020, and at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Kobe from March 20 through March 29, 2020. [2] All performances were canceled and refunded due to the coronavirus.[3]

The musical was instead performed on a Japanese-georestricted live broadcast on Niconico on March 12, 2020. After the event, tickets were still sold and the recording of the broadcast was available until and on March 27, 2020.[4]
