Final Fantasy takes 75 MP to perform and is offense/defense mix combining the powers of all five fighters. It exceeds damage limit and heals allies. Despite its power, the casting time is long, and it is possible a player character could die before the party finishes casting the spell.
An item called Final Fantasy appears within the game's data, but cannot be found within a normal playthrough. It doesn't have any purpose or usefulness, just like the Dragon Seal and Omega Badge.

Mewt creates an illusory version of Ivalice using a Gran Grimoire and a game referred to as Final Fantasy. It is unknown which Final Fantasy installment they are referring to, although it is most likely the original Final Fantasy Tactics.

Due to not having an official name for the Final Fantasy world during the Nintendo era of the original's game release, the creator/writers of the show referred to it as the World of Final Fantasy, named after the game. It is described as being a medieval world.
The Last Story is a 2011 fantasy role playing game for the Wii developed by Mistwalker, a company founded by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, and published by Nintendo in Japan and by Xseed Games in North America. The game's title can be read as a synonym for "final fantasy," and the game's story and thematic elements as a fundamental reinvention of the original Final Fantasy concept. Additionally, the music for The Last Story was composed by long-time Final Fantasy series composer Nobuo Uematsu. But unlike Final Fantasy itself, the development and publication of The Last Story did not directly involve Square-Enix, and the game is copyrighted directly to Nintendo.
