Duane is a summonable vision and an optional playable character in War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Known as the Dark Swordsman, he serves as a character representative from Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius.

Gameplay[]
A swordsman from a continent other than Ardra. Seeking strength, he mastered the dark blade only to be met with contempt from his fellow knights. His wounded heart was swallowed by darkness, his comrades slain by his own hands. Remorseful over his actions, he eventually took his own life.
Character description
Duane is a limited UR-rarity unit of the Dark element whose main job is Dark Knight of Remorse, while his sub jobs are Viking and Dragoon. He can equip the following items: Sword, Helm, Armor, Accessory. His unit cost is 100.
His Master Ability increases Dark unit allies' Max HP by 10% and Dark Attack by 15, as well as his own ATK by 10% and DEF Piercing Rate by 20. His limit burst is Death Scythe, which deals 2-Hit Dmg (L) to targets within range & absorbs portion of Dmg dealt.
The helm worn by Duane. Standard-issue equipment of the knightly order he belonged to, beautifully adorned in a manner befitting of one who defends his nation. It is now devoid of the glimmer it once bore, much like the remorse-filled eyes of its wearer.
Helm of Remorse description
His Trust Master Reward is the Helm of Remorse armor, which bestows HP +386, DEF +6, SPR +10 and the Magic Prevention ability, which raises own Magic Attack Res for 3 turns.
Duane debuted in the game's global version as a time limited, double cost unit and eventually made his debut on the Japanese version as a normal cost and permanent unit, largely as a result of increasingly negative reception over the continuous release of several either time limited or high cost units.

The dark blade, a forbidden sword art which draws from the power of darkness itself.
Duane went to painstaking lengths to master this blade as a young knight, yet his achievements were met with the disdainful gaze of his jealous comrades who feared the power of the dark blade.
He was taken hold of by the darkness in his resulting despair and eventually slayed his fellow knights.
Overcome by the guilt of his actions, Duane then went on to take his own life.
Tortured further in death by deep sadness and regret, he now brandishes his darkness-shrouded blade in search of the light.Vision card description
Irresistible Darkness is a UR-rarity vision card with a cost of 70. At Lv. 99, its stats are HP +378 and ATK +162. Its Party Abilities are ATK Up 35%, Magic Attack Res Up 12 and Dark Unit Pierce Attack Res Up 20. Its Bestowed Effect is Slash Attack Up 10 and its Limited Bestowed Effect is Dark Attack Up 20 for Duane only. It was illustrated by G-ROW Art.
