Dissidia Final Fantasy[]

Dissidia Ultimecia

Ultimecia appears as a Warrior of Chaos and stands as the antagonist representing Final Fantasy VIII, opposing Squall Leonhart.

Ultimecia allies with the Emperor to rein in the more destructive members of Chaos's warriors and break the cycle of war. She manipulates Squall's chosen path towards his Crystal, and tests his resolve to fight her. Her goal is to create a compressed world where everything could exist eternally.

Her alternate outfit is a beige palette swap with red claws.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy[]

Ultimecia returns as a Warrior of Chaos in the prequel to Dissidia Final Fantasy alongside the other characters. She acts as Tifa's enemy, mocking her about her friendship with the other Warriors of Cosmos. She notifies Tifa of Kain's treachery, pointing out he has attacked and incapacitated Zidane. Ultimecia acts as one of the final opponents of Scenario 012, fighting Tifa.

Her second alternate outfit is Edea's attire from Final Fantasy VIII, a black and purple dress with an elaborate headpiece.

Ultimecia returns to World B, having been summoned by Spiritus as one of his champions to help generate battle energy to sustain the world. She is disinterested in this new cycle and wishes to leave. She is a Marksman-type and can keep on attacking to gain the Maleficium buff, enhancing her Bravery attacks and unique EX Skill, Maelstrom, that creates an exploding magic orb.

She was first introduced in the collaboration event that happened in the North American version of the game from May 16, 2016 to May 29, 2016. When fought in the Void Beyond, she uses the skills "Insolent fools!", "Dispel", "Meltdown", "Tornado", "Bio", "Stop", "Maelstrom", "Double", "HAHAHA..." After defeating her, she drops herself, Squall's Gunblade and Rinoa's Pinwheel as rewards.

She was obtainable as a 5★ ranked unit named "Ultimecia" (アルティミシア, Arutimishia?), with a devil type and dark and light elements.

As a 5★ ranked unit, Ultimecia appears in her standard form and emits a light aura with dark clouds forming around her. Her active skill is "Hell's Judgment" and her leader skill is "Why stand in the way of a witch?".
