"Protagonist's Theme" (主人公のテーマ, Shujinkō no Tēma?) is the main theme of Final Fantasy Tactics and the character theme of the main protagonist Ramza Beoulve. Composed and arranged by Hitoshi Sakimoto, its tune is heard in several battle themes and cutscenes.

Final Fantasy Tactics[]

The beats of the main theme are included in the opening FMV and other themes in the original soundtrack: "Protagonist's Theme", "Alma's Theme", "Memories", "Antipyretic", "Precipitous Combat", "Epilogue", and "Credits".

"Protagonist's Theme" is named "Bitter Bear" in the in-game sound test mode of The War of the Lions version.

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood[]

The original "Protagonist's Theme" from Final Fantasy Tactics is reused in several cutscenes in the Return to Ivalice alliance raids. It is track 62 on the Stormblood: Final Fantasy XIV Original Soundtrack.

Other tracks with the motif of "Protagonist's Theme" from the original game are also reused in the alliance raids: "Precipitous Combat", "Antipyretic", "Alma's Theme", "Epilogue", and "Credits".

"Precipitous Combat" plays while fighting Mateus, Hashmal, and Rofocale in The Royal City of Rabanastre The Royal City of Rabanastre. "Antipyretic" plays during the fight against Agrias in The Orbonne Monastery The Orbonne Monastery.

"Precipitous Combat" is track 65 on the Stormblood original soundtrack. "Antipyretic", "Alma's Theme", "Epilogue", and "Credits" are tracks 21, 30, 32, and 33 on the Shadowbringers: Final Fantasy XIV Original Soundtrack, respectively.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT[]

"Antipyretic" was arranged by Takeharu Ishimoto and orchestrated by Kentaro Sato and appears as battle music. It and the original PlayStation version can be bought from the shop for 3,600 gil. The arrangement from Final Fantasy Record Keeper was available for 1,500 for a limited time.

"Precipitous Combat (Arrangement)" also appears as a battle theme, arranged by Tsuyoshi Sekito.

"Antipyretic (Arrangement)" is track 15 of disc 2 on the Dissidia Final Fantasy -Arcade- Original Soundtrack, and "Precipitous Combat (Arrangement)" track 12 of disc 2 on the Dissidia Final Fantasy -Arcade- Original Soundtrack Vol. 2. They are also tracks 82 and 83 respectively on the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Original Soundtrack.

Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia[]

The arranged version of "Antipyretic" from Dissidia Final Fantasy NT was reused for Agrias Oaks's event.

The original version of "Antipyretic" is used for Ramza's Burst Mode sequences.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy[]

"Antipyretic appears as a Battle Music Sequence, available as a downloadable content in the iOS version.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call[]

"Antipyretic" appears as a Battle Music Sequence. It is available by default. It also appears on the Best of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call album.
