The Schmidt, formerly called Sky Cap, is an enemy in Final Fantasy VI. Schmidt used the same sprite as Sky Armor until the 2014 releases, where its rotors were positioned at a different angle.

Stats[]

Battle[]

Schmidt is a flying robot-type enemy that uses laser beams, missiles, and tries to reverse the party's row positions. It is weak to Lightning Lightning, Wind Wind, and Water Water.

Strategy[]

It is not a threat, as the party is riding Magitek armor while fighting it and can quickly kill it with repeated uses of the Thunder Beam ability. If Terra is in the party, she should use Magitek Missile instead.
