They are the upgraded versions of the Skeletonton, and in addition to the normal attack, they can also use a Whirlslash move that hits around them. In addition, Skeletons will now counter after guarding, making them more dangerous than their weaker versions. They should be dealt with by attacking them from behind, and should be saved for last when dealing with a group of other enemies.
Of note, all versions of the Skeleton have a -2 weakness to Holy-elemental attacks.
