Belhelmel is a Triple Triad card in Final Fantasy VIII used to play the minigame and for turning into items with Quezacotl's Card Mod. Belhelmel is the sixteenth card in the inventory, the fifth basic Level 2 Monster Card.

Being a Level 2 card, the card values on the Belhelmel are not strong. Its value placement may be useful for games that use Same and/or Plus.

Obtain[]

The Belhelmel monster has a 3.5% chance to drop the card. Using the Card command on a Belhelmel has a 93.7% chance to procure a Belhelmel card when it succeeds.

Any AI Triple Triad player who uses Level 2 cards has a chance of using Belhelmel in a play, from where the player can win it in a card match.

Card Mod[]

A Belhelmel card refines into a Saw Blade with Quezacotl's Card Mod ability. The blades can further be refined into Death and Dispel spells, making Belhelmel potentially a good card to amass as junctioning Death to ST-Atk-J is a powerful combination that lets the player dispatch most regular enemies in one hit; Siren comes with both ST-Atk-J and the L Mag-RF needed to make Death from Saw Blade.
