Boost the damage inflicted by attack items!

In-game description.

Alchemist is a crown in Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light obtained by defeating Beelzebub at the Tower to the Sky.

The Alchemist's special ability increases power of attack items. The crown's earlier abilities allows the user to forge new attack items and add them in their inventory. Like traditional Chemists in the series, the Alchemist in The 4 Heroes of Light can combine two items into one. The Alchemist's strongest ability, Cast, can deal up to ten hits, provided the player has set up the Alchemist's inventory correctly.

The Alchemist has decent stat multipliers, but lacks proficiency with any type of weapon and magic. The job's special armor, Alchemist Gown, provides a 5% boost to the user's Defense, Magic Defense, Accuracy, and Magic Accuracy.

The word "alchemist" comes from "alchemy". An alchemist is a person who practices alchemy, the tradition of creating the legendary philosopher's stone, with which one can supposedly create gold or silver from lead, or produce an elixir of life that bestows immortality.
