The Warrior is a job in Final Fantasy Dimensions obtained at the start of the story, and is shared by both parties.

The males are more heavily clad in armor than the females.

Overview[]

Warriors equip heavy armor and shields, and can wield swords, spears, bows, and axes. Their physical stats are high, except for speed, which is poor, and they have little aptitude for magic in either offense or defense. When compared to the advanced jobs, namely Paladin, Dark Knight, and Dragoon, Warriors occupy a middle-ground between all three. They aren't as defensively-minded as a Paladin, aren't as offensively-focused as a Dark Knight, nor are they as fast as the Dragoon. Their passive abilities include Counter and Strength +20%, which compliment a Warrior of Darkness more so than a Warrior of Light due to Draw Attacks. They lack any form of multi-target attack without assistance from other Jobs or Fusion Abilities, focusing exclusively on single-target damage. Their weaponry draw is variable: swords and spears are accurate, bows are back-row options with elemental effects, and axes deal bonus damage to plants, machines, and ghosts, depending on the specific weapon used. At higher levels, the Warrior can serve as a decent supporter, being the key to unlocking some of the more potent Fusion Abilities for the Warriors of Light, namely Mighty Wall. At the same time, it offers the Warriors of Darkness some utility options in Taunt and Misty Charge, which happens to be the sole means a Warrior of Darkness has of switching their row and remaining on the attack.

Fusion Abilities[]

Levelling a Warrior can help provide access to eight Fusion Abilities; three for the Warriors of Darkness, two for the Warriors of Light, and three usable by both. They are:

Reduces physical and magic damage received and raises ATK for all allies.
Valiant Blow Assault + Charge Warriors of Light 55 FF Dimensions Valiant Blow Physical attack. Deals 1.75 to 2.25 times as much damage as a regular attack, depending on HP%.
Deals damage to a single enemy. Damage increases as HP decreases.
