Tempting Tango (みわくのタンゴ, Miwaku no Tango?, lit. Temptation Tango), also known as Dancer: Tempting Tango and Temptango, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is a Dance skill that acts like the Confuse spell on a random target.

Final Fantasy V[]

Tempting Tango is an ability randomly used from the Dance command at a 25% chance, and outright removed when the user is equipped with the Rainbow Dress, Red Slippers, or Lamia's Tiara. It inflicts Confuse on one target.

Final Fantasy Record Keeper[]

Dancer: Tempting Tango is an enemy ability used by Ultimate Bartz which deals massive non-elemental physical damage to one target.

Etymology[]

Tango is a partner dance that originated in the 1880s along the River Plate, the natural border between Argentina and Uruguay, and soon spread to the rest of the world.
