The Flan is an enemy in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. Appearing as a gelatinous creature, Flans are stern, and fond of head-butting and casting Thunder whether the player is far away, has picked them up and carrying them, or standing on top of them. They are best dealt with by using the Wall Slam tactic, assuming the player can stay out of reach of their constant Thunder barrage.

Etymology[]
The word Flan refers to an open pastry or sponge cake containing a sweet or savory filling. A typical flan of this sort is round, with shortcrust pastry, usually coated with sweet syrup. It is similar to a custard tart or a South African melktert.
