Allusions[]

  • Eight joins Sabin in the latter's Force Mode. Both are ascetic monks devoted to their personal and spiritual enrichment, and each uses his Phantom Rush as an ultimate move. They have combined for the Double Phantom Rush.
  • The events of the second half of Act4 Chapter 2 Part 1 have the party throw a tournament for its monks at Eight's suggestion. This reflects how in the Final Fantasy Type-0 novel, Eight wants to be a competitive martial artist upon leaving Class Zero.
