Bangaa Pugilist is an enemy in Final Fantasy XII. he is a member of the bangaa race that appears near the northern entrance of the Broken Sands area of the Dalmasca Estersand. He will not attack until provoked, but once aggravated, he will not leave the party alone until they leave the area. He will attack other enemies in the area.
Bangaa Pugilist is the strongest bangaa-type enemy. He doesn't have his own bestiary entry, rather sharing the generic bangaa entry under "Humanoids". Thus, felling him is not needed for bestiary completion.
Five pugilists are also fought in the Zodiac versions' Trial Mode in Stage 66 alongside a bangaa called "Saloon Steward".
