The Tonberry, also known as Tonberi and Dinglberry, is an enemy in Final Fantasy V. It does its routine of advancing towards the party, then when in the closest distance, uses Cleaver to deal critical damage regardless of Defense. It is susceptible to Level 2 Old.
Dark Flare, a magic spell in Dark Arts technique, usable by Necromancers, can be learned if a Necromancer kills a Tonberry.
