Fated Circle (フェイテッドサークル, Feiteddo Sākuru?) is a recurring ability in the series, and is a trademark Limit Break for Squall Leonhart. It is generally a powerful physical attack that damages all enemies.

Final Fantasy VIII
Template:Sideicon Fated Circle is the second finishing move of Squall's Renzokuken, first available after obtaining the Shear Trigger or higher gunblade. It has a base power of 40 and inflicts non-elemental physical damage to all enemies.
Dissidia Final Fantasy
Template:Sideicon Fated Circle is a ground HP Attack for Squall, initially obtained at the start of the game. It requires 180 AP to learn and 40 CP to equip (20 if mastered), and has Ranged high priority. It comes with the Magic Block, Wall Rush, and Absorb. The similar Aerial Circle is also initially obtained at the start of the game, and can only be used in the air, requiring the same AP, CP, and properties as Fated Circle.
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy
Template:Sideicon Fated Circle and Aerial Circle return as HP Attacks for Squall, retaining the same properties as before. Fated Circle must now be obtained at level 12 to use it, while Aerial Circle is still obtained at the start of the game.
Dissidia Final Fantasy (2015)
Template:Sideicon Fated Circle is a HP attack used by Squall. It is the default HP attack unlocked. Its aerial variant, Aerial Circle, is named as "Fated Circle" in this game, but has the same effect as Aerial Circle in the PSP games.
