The Far Darrig, also known as the Farjalug, is an enemy from Final Fantasy III. It is found in the Tower of Owen, often accompanied by Aughiskies. It has access to the strong Blizzara spell, while its other spells are merely nuisances. It rarely uses Toad, so the party should not have to worry about it that often, as it tends to favor physicals over it. Physical attacks work just fine in dispatching these enemies.

Etymology[]
Far darrig or fear dearg is a faerie of Irish mythology. The name is an Anglophone pronunciation of the Irish words fear dearg, meaning "red man," as the far darrig is said to wear a red coat and cap. Far darrig is described as a solitary fairy along with the leprechaun.
