Template:Listen ("Fang's Theme", ファングのテーマ"?, lit. Fangu no Tēma) is the character theme of Oerba Yun Fang in Final Fantasy XIII. "Fang's Theme" is a short, uplifting orchestral piece, something unusual for a character of the "strong, serious female" archetype.

Game appearances

Final Fantasy XIII

"Fang's Theme" contains a small variant of the main battle theme and plays at many points during the game, including the party's siege on the Palamecia to rescue Sazh and Vanille, when Fang summons Bahamut for the first time, and during the party's arrival to Gran Pulse. It is the first track of the original soundtrack's fourth disc.

There are two arrangements of "Fang's Theme" in the soundtrack: the first is the second version of "The Pulse l'Cie", which plays during her flashback of the fifth day when she and Vanille separate at the Euride Gorge energy plant, and is the twenty-first track of the soundtrack's second disc. Another arrangement is "Dust to Dust", a melancholic theme with vocals.

A "prototype" version of "Fang's Theme" titled, "M181 Shugeki2 Prototype" was included on the Final Fantasy XIII: Original Soundtrack PLUS album as the twelfth track.
