Fairy Path

Brandt and the others in the Fairy Path.

The Fairy Path (妖精の小道, Yousei no Komichi?) is a location in Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light. It is a very short pathway located in the mountains north of Guera, acting as a passageway to Arbor. While adventuring in the cave, the player cannot enter without a human character in their party, and cannot get through without Lillibelle's Wings. Since the Fairy Path is covered in darkness, it is highly advised the player brings a Torch to brighten up the area.

The typical dungeon theme, "Cave of Wraiths," (あやかしの洞, Ayakashi no hora?) is the location theme for the Guera Caverns. The track can be found in the original soundtrack as Track 9 and is composed by Naoshi Mizuta.

Etymology[]

According to folklore a fairy path (or 'passage', 'avenue', or 'pass') is a route taken by fairies usually in a straight line and between sites of traditional significance, such as fairy forts or raths (a class of circular earthwork dating from the Iron Age), "airy" (eerie) mountains and hills, thorn bushes, springs, lakes, rock outcrops, and Stone Age monuments.
