Brandt and the others in the Fairy Path.

The Fairy Path (妖精の小道, Yousei no Komichi?) is a location in Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light. It is a very short pathway located in the mountains north of Guera, acting as a passageway to Arbor. While adventuring in the cave, the player cannot exit if they do not have a human character in their party, since the guard in the cave hates animals. Since the Fairy Path is covered in darkness, it is highly advised the player brings a Torch to brighten up the area.

After leaving the Animal Burrow, Aire, in her cursed form, heads to Guera and meets up with Brandt. She gives Brandt a map of the world and the two head off to the Fairy Path. After leaving from the Fairy Path, the two arrive in the city of Arbor.

Musical themes[]

The typical dungeon theme, "Cave of Wraiths," (あやかしの洞, Ayakashi no hora?) is the location theme for the Guera Caverns. The track can be found in the original soundtrack as Track 9 and is composed by Naoshi Mizuta.

According to folklore a fairy path (or 'passage', 'avenue', or 'pass') is a route taken by fairies usually in a straight line and between sites of traditional significance, such as fairy forts or raths (a class of circular earthwork dating from the Iron Age), "airy" (eerie) mountains and hills, thorn bushes, springs, lakes, rock outcrops, and Stone Age monuments.
