Template:Construction Template:Images Extra Missions are a mode of gameplay in Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII-. They are unlocked once the main game is completed on any difficulty. Unlike the main story Missions, these are entirely optional and do not connect to the central plot of Dirge of Cerberus. In these missions, the players control either Vincent Valentine or Cait Sith in digital combat simulations created by Shalua Rui. These combat simulations are designed as training modes for members of the WRO. By completing these missions, more Extra Missions are unlocked for the player's enjoyment.
Each one of the Extra Missions take place in their own unique locations. There are various unique objectives ranging from defeating certain enemies, locating goal points, or simply survive. Some Missions have time limits, others do not. In all, there are thirty Extra Missions for the player to go through.
