The Exoray is an enemy in Final Fantasy XIII-2. It is a relatively rare enemy that has a small chance of appearing in the Tidal Shallows and Beachfront area in New Bodhum 3 AF once the storyline missions there are complete. It is recommended to set out to find it after obtaining the Battlemania Fragment Skill, which increases the chance of Exoray appearing.

As an enemy, the Exoray is unremarkable and poses no challenge as it is only slightly stronger than the Sarracenia that also can be found in the area.

Stats[edit | edit source]

Paradigm Pack[edit | edit source]

The Exoray is a Medic. Its HP increases rapidly at low levels, but its growth significantly slows after it reaches level 10, while its Strength and Magic are more linear. If fed Potent materials, the Exoray will have around 3,400 HP, 160 Strength and 240 Magic at level 40, making it a mediocre Medic. It learns Curasa, a necessity late game, but lacks Raise and needs it infused. The Exoray is the most powerful Medic monster early to mid game until the party encounters Caterchipillars.
