Exoray is an enemy in the Advance and the now discontinued 2013 Matrix Software versions of Final Fantasy V, judging by their colors, it is a likely allusion to the Final Fantasy X version of the monster. It is found in the post-game bonus dungeon, Sealed Temple.
Stats[]
Battle[]
Exoray attacks with Poison Powder, Paralyze Powder, Silver Powder, Zombie Powder, Confuse Powder, Darkness Powder, and Firaga, inflicting tons of damage and status effects to the party. They appear in groups of five, and must be defeated simultaneously or they will respawn. They are susceptible to Level 2 Old, Level 3 Flare, and Level 4 Graviga.
Necromancers can gain the Dark Arts technique, Dark Haze, by slaying an Exoray.
Strategy[]
A good strategy to take the Exorays out is to summon Odin. If the party has enough gil, Zeninage works well.
