The Evoker is a Advanced Job in Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, available after unlocking the corresponding node in the Pilgrim Job Tree.
The Evoker is a melee/caster hybrid job capable healing allies, eliminating status ailments, and managing crowds through the help of a golden spirit. This spirit makes for an incredible ally due to the ability to buff its defenses and control enemy positions in through the "Evocation" job action, making for a great offensive and defensive playstyle. To encourage an aggressive playstyle, the Evoker's passives grant an increase in MP with normal attacks, an increase in damage at max HP, and the unique passive of reduced time needed to recover from status ailments.

Job Action[]
The Evoker has access to the Evocation ability, which summons a golden, bird-like spirit that aids you in battle. This spirit will automatically attack surrounding enemies with non-elemental magic attacks. In addition, the player can issue orders to the spirit through the Command Ability menu at the cost of its total HP (While the spirit is active, the command menu will be rendered disabled until the spirit is dismissed by holding the or until its HP has reached 0. Equipment[]
Evoker makes use of swords, maces, and staves, all of which can help the player stay close to the enemy and deal heavy break damage whilst the spirit debilitates the enemies' movements with Shackle or Interrupt.
Stats[]
The job gives a stat bonus to Strength and Spirit, giving the character more physical damage and break damage and greater magical defenses, but poorer stat growth than most jobs as they stagnate by reaching level 99.
